12 Crafts of Christmas – Day 8- Christmas Aprons – Part 1

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We are winding down here and we almost forgot to post our vid.  I must apologize for breaking this one in two parts.  My iron had a freak accident and is now slightly detached at the bottom…  lol.  So, the safety level is now at code red.

So I’ve since procured another iron from walmart, but have not had a chance to finish our video, so we will post part 2 as soon as get that done!  (Really need that iron for the apron strings…)

For the material we cut so far:

Roo’s Top= 10 x 10″, Bottom =  20 x 12″

Mine Top = 13 x 12′, Bottom = 26 x 17″

And also for mine, three strips 5 x 32″ for ruffles.

So you need to cut two  pieces for the top part of the apron, (one liner, one main fabric.. could both be same.. up to you)

And one piece for the bottom half of the apron and you’ll hem around the sides and bottom edge.

And the for the ruffles, I cut one strip in the same fabric as the bottom half, and two strips in the alternating fabric. ( again, up to you which fabric for what…)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
